Known as the ‘Fisherman’s Church’ due to its location in the heart of Hull’s old fishing community, St John’s was completed in 1878. A red brick building with stone dressings, the interior continues to surprise first time visitors with its grandeur and beauty. Today, the church remains a place of worship and provides services for young people and the community as well as hosting exhibitions.
