Hull Members of the amazing Gay Abandon (West Yorkshire’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans choir) and Sunday Boys (Manchester’s inclusive choir for men) combine forces for a workshop day with members of Hull Rainbow Choir, and anyone from the LGBT+ community who would like to come along and sing.
The day will be led by choir leaders Michael Betteridge and Jane Edwardson, with the workshop promoting singing to the LGBT+ community in Hull, with a view to support and expand the Rainbow Choir in Hull.
The workshop is about having fun and singing together, with plans to round off the day with a series of mini performances around key venues in the City.
All songs will be taught by ear – there is no need to read music, and no pressure to perform. Lunch is not provided – please be prepared to make your own arrangements.
