Summary

As part of the Classically Yours series, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) presents a fun and interactive performance to take the audience on a voyage of musical discovery and adventure, introduced by its very own captain Tim Steiner.

The concert, organised by the RPO Resound, is an excellent introduction to classical music with a musical selection inspired by the sea and beyond, including Strauss’s Blue Danube waltz, the Fantasia on British Sea Songs and excerpts from one of the best-loved film scores of all time, Pirates Of The Caribbean.
