Summary

Four photographers. One purpose… to show aspects of the world that help observers see and think.

The four photographers in this group work separately but sympathetically to build images of landscapes. Whilst the landscape can be large or small the presence of the human hand is always present, even when the human form is not. All four photographers live and work in East Yorkshire and use both this area and the wider world for their reflections.

This show brings together over twenty of their photographs for the first time showing their approaches, similarities and differences and illustrating how the photographic eye can differ whilst showing our world in a recognisable but questioning manner.

Entry to the exhibition is free with admission charge to Burton Constable Hall.
