BBC Radio 3 takes up residence at Hull Truck Theatre for a three-day festival of ground-breaking world music.
Reflecting on the city’s rich folk and roots heritage, the festival features a series of live concerts from one of the most recognisable faces in modern British folk music, Eliza Carthy alongside international artists Warsaw Village Band and Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars.
This show features the Warsaw Village Band who mix folk, roots, punk, ethno and trance inspired by Poland’s rural traditions and begins with a set from Yorkshire folk artist and special guest Fay Hield.
There will also be a chance to be part of the Radio 3 family as some of the station’s best known programmes come to the city.
