Hull’s popular Playday Festival returns to Queen’s Gardens. The 14th festival gets underway from 11am-3pm and will transform Queen’s Gardens into a huge outdoor playground where children, young people and families can have a fun filled day, taking part in the annual celebration of the importance of play.
This year’s theme is ‘Freedom to Play’, linking in with our third season of Freedom, celebrating the opportunities for children and young people to play and learn.
A vast range of fun activities are on offer ranging from a mini farm to donkey rides as well as a full programme of entertainment on the bandstand. Sainsbury’s Hessle will also be supplying free drinks at the event and there will also be free LEGO kits available. All activities are free to take part in and there will be endless opportunities to build, make, create, bounce, run, jump and play.
If you have purchased a ticket for an event/activity at this venue through hull2017.co.uk, please do not contact the venue direct with enquiries for that purchase as they will be unable to help.
