Summary

The Pint of Science festival delivers interesting and relevant talks on the latest science research in an accessible format to the public – all in the pub! Providing a platform which allows people to discuss research with the people who carry it out, it is run mainly by volunteers and was established by a community of postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers in 2012.

Topics include:

Beautiful Mind – neuroscience, psychology and psychiatry

Atoms to Galaxies – physics, chemistry, maths and astronomy

Our Body – medicine, human biology and health

Planet Earth – geosciences, plant sciences and zoology

Creative Reaction – art and science come together

The festival is situated at The Deep and various other locations.
