Darren Day, Brendan Sheerin, Charlie Hardwick, Jonny Labey, Sid Sloane and Ricky K lead the cast in Peter Pan, the high-flying pantomime adventure, in the biggest line-up in recent Hull New Theatre history.
The sensational six will set sail up the Humber and dock in Kingston Square this Christmas to star in the first pantomime to be performed at the newly redeveloped venue. Peter Pan is set to be the biggest pantomime ever to play Hull New Theatre, with spectacular high-flying effects, an unmissable underwater 3D sequence which will take the audience on an adventure deep into the ocean and all of the ingredients of a traditional family pantomime.
With a fabulous cast and orchestra, laugh-out-loud comedy, bundles of audience participation, stunning scenery and special effects, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses for all the family, Hull audiences won’t want to miss this theatrical treat. Peter Pan will be staged by Qdos Entertainment, world’s biggest pantomime producer and the same team behind the Hull New Theatre panto since 2005. In a twist to the traditional story, to honour this year’s City of Culture, Peter Pan will no longer be set in London, with the Darling family instead hailing from Hull, before they travel across the skies to Neverland. With tickets on sale now audiences should plot a course for the Box Office and secure tickets for Hull’s biggest ever pantomime, or they’ll be forced to walk the plank!
