This is a talk by Dr Campbell Edinborough, Lecturer in Drama, as part of the ‘Creative Conversations’ series.
Contemporary performance practice is marked by an ongoing cross-pollination of form and genre. In recent years, the aesthetics of dance, theatre and performance art have become increasingly enmeshed, establishing theatre and performance as an expanded field.
This talk will examine how this raises challenges for educators attempting to train performers.
