Jenn’s first novel ‘A Kind of Intimacy’ won a 2010 Betty Trask Award.
‘A Kind of Intimacy’ is a darkly comic tale; an offbeat and ironic study of misunderstandings. It traces the dark possibilities of best intentions going awry, and gives an unsettling glimpse into a clumsy young woman who has too much in common with the rest of us to be written off as a monster.
Her fourth novel ‘Fell’ was published in 2016 and is described as; “A haunting and otherworldly tale of the impact on one family of a guest with seemingly magical powers, who alters the course of their lives in ways neither they nor he foresee”
