Tainted is a new devised piece that explores the lives of an isolated community living in fear of a ruthless government.
Recent developments have upset the balance of the system, leaving revolution teetering on the edge of reality. Tainted is told through modern music, using its pulsating, visceral nature as the very heartbeat of the people’s uproar.
‘Making Performance’ is a season of theatre work by final-year undergraduate students in Drama and which runs throughout the month of March. The work offered is as broad as it is distinctive and ranges from classical Greek to Shakespearean comedy; children’s fairy-tale to contemporary new writing.
Students involved in this work engage in a year-long process in which the full range of theatre production skills acquired during their programmes of study are developed and applied.
