Verdi’s best loved opera returns this summer for the BP Big Screens experience, in one of The Royal Opera’s most popular productions. La traviata’s story of a beautiful Parisian courtesan prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for love is told through thrilling ensembles and choruses, impassioned duets and stunningly beautiful lyrical arias – and performed by a wonderful young cast and our great Royal Opera Chorus and Orchestra of the Royal Opera House. Be prepared for an evening of visual and musical beauty and profound emotion.

Pre-performance screening from 6.30pm. Relay begins at 7pm. Gates open 5.45pm.

TOP TIPS TO ENJOYING THESE EVENTS

  • Why not bring a picnic to enjoy? Drinks will be also be to purchase from McCoys who will be operating within the event site. If you bring your own drink refreshments please ensure they are in plastic bottles and/or decanted into plastic jugs before entering the event site.
  • We recommend bringing a blanket as the audience is required to sit on the ground.
  • No animals will be permitted accepted assistance dogs.
  • You are not permitted to bring chairs and/or any other furniture to this event.
