A delightful and amusing postmodernism promenade performance, like something straight out of a crazy French dream.

Ruthless and cheeky rascals like in an American western, Le G. Bistaki will thrill us with their wacky voodoo rituals, surreal video projections, passionate tango, gleaming white suits, a ton of corn and fiery fights.

This show is at times indescribable, always on the verge of surreal madness presented as an absurd ballet, juggling and dancing with the corn in a seemingly drunken endless choreography.

Expect multiple stops on the journey around the side streets of The Guildhall as we journey together back through Queens Gardens for a bolero inspired finale where ducks may or not get involved, corn will definitely be used in plenty and a choir supported by local participants will help to light the way.

One of the most original and unique European outdoor theatre companies currently performing all over the world, these crazy characters have already spent time developing this work specifically for us in Hull.

One of the most surreal French theatrical moments you’ll ever see in your life!

This presentation is supported by the EU Culture funded InSitu outdoor arts network.

Freedom Festival is one of 18 European partners of the network between 2017-2020.
