Summary

Hull Jazz Festival celebrates its 25th birthday in style this November, with a line-up packed with the best in UK and US talent.

Guitar legend Pat Metheny headlines a line-up that also features acoustic techno from New York urban jazz trio Moon Hooch; GoGo Penguin and their new score to cult masterpiece Koyaanisqatsi; new material from Andy Sheppard, Arun Ghosh, Bill Laurance, Stuart McCallum and Revenu; and a celebration of the glorious 60s pop sound of Dusty and Shirley with David McAlmont and Gwyneth Herbert. Add in A Brief History of the Coolest Instrument in the World, Zoe Gilby’s Family Jazz All-Stars and A Journey with the Giants of Jazz with Nu Civilisation Orchestra and there really is something for everyone.
