The Hornsea Art Society are a local art group founded in 1969 by a like-minded small group of people sharing a common interest and enthusiasm for painting and drawing. The Society has members of all abilities, from beginners to professionals, working in a wide range of media including watercolour, acrylics, oils, pastel, textiles, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery. Members frequently exhibit their work outside the society alongside the groups main annual Summer exhibition.
In celebration of Hull City of Culture 2017, the Society is involved in a host of community events: running a series of painting workshops in local residential care homes; providing artists in residence at the Hornsea Carnival Weekend and organising an art event at the Bike Fest for autistic children.
The Hornsea Art Society Exhibition can be viewed daily in The Carriage House from 11am to 5pm.
Entry to the exhibition is included with normal admission charges.
If you have purchased a ticket for an event/activity at this venue through hull2017.co.uk, please do not contact the venue direct with enquiries for that purchase as they will be unable to help.
