Our Histories Revealed: African Stories In Hull And East Yorkshire is an exciting, thought-provoking exhibition of a little-known aspect of British social history. It examines the presence and contribution of people of African descent in the region, from 1750 to 2007.
The stories are brought to life through a mixture of pictures, videos, artwork, memorabilia, oral histories and music in a multisensory representation of these forgotten histories. This exhibition merges themes of migration, inclusivity and community in a new and innovative way.
