Enjoy an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the archives as well as conservation demonstrations. There will also be children’s activities, including games, crafts and a treasure hunt.

Heritage Open Days celebrate England’s fantastic heritage and culture with a once-a-year chance to enjoy a wide range of tours, events and activities that bring local history and culture to life.

Due to this special event research facilities in the archives will not be available on this day.
