Summary

Hedon Viewfinders – officially “Viewfinders – Through The Lens” – is holding its first ever photography exhibition.

For the majority of the 27 photographers taking part, whose ages range from 15 to 86, it will be the first time that their work has been on public display. The photographs included in the exhibition cover a wide variety of subjects, demonstrating various levels of skill and ability, reflecting the makeup of the club itself. The hope is that visitors will feel inspired to take more photographs and improve their photography skills.

Although the Viewfinders have only been together a year they have quickly gained a reputation for being a fun and friendly organisation. The club prides itself on welcoming beginners and actively encourages people to pick up a camera, sharing their photography and improvements with others in the group.

Hedon Viewfinders photography club meets fortnightly at the Haven Arms, Havenside, Hedon, on Wednesdays, 7pm – 9pm and it is free to join and take part.

Next meeting is 4 October. All welcome.
