A walk through Hedon, through the lens of its pub history.
In the late 19th Century there was a licenced premises for every 80 citizens of Hedon – beer and brewing has always been important. There will be stories of auctions, accession and agricultural endeavour; bribery, bodies and breweries as well as caravans, concerts and clubs. Learn about the breweries and pubs of Hedon, past and present, taking in the sites of all known pubs in Hedon.
The walk takes a little over 2 and a half hours. There will be an opportunity to visit two or three of today’s locals too!
