In 1957, the Greatfield estate in east Hull was built. Full of hope and aspiration for their new lives, 60 years on, many residents still have an enormous sense of pride and ownership and are working hard to improve the quality of life for all residents through the Greatfield Big Local programme.

Greatfield 60 Years On will celebrate life on the estate through arts and culture. Supporting home-grown creativity, professional artists will work with residents to embed a new enthusiasm for creativity through a variety of creative projects including TV, digital media, dance and photography.

A pop-up gallery will provide a curated exhibition space, displaying a photography exhibition celebrating 60 years of the estate it will also host local screenings, talks and provide a busy and bookable workshop space.
