Summary

In March 2017, Ghana will celebrate its 60th anniversary of independence.

The Ghanaian community will share part of their culture by inviting local people to participate in Adinkra block print, a traditional cloth-making process involving the use of special symbols with meanings and block printing onto traditional cloths to tell a story.

There will also be a Ghanaian cultural display, drumming and Adowa dance – the traditional dance of the people from the Ashanti region.
