University of Hull Maritime History Trust would like to invite you to the upcoming Public Lecture at the Hull History Centre.

The speaker is Professor N.A.M. Rodger (All Soul’s College, Oxford) and the topic is ‘The Culture of Naval War, c.1850-1950’.

Professor Rodger is a world leading historian of the Royal Navy and naval warfare. His publications include ‘The Wooden World’; ‘The Safeguard of the Sea, 660-1649’ and ‘The Command of the Ocean, 1649-1815’, Volumes 1-2 in his Naval History of Britain series.
