Join Bridlington’s local groups as they celebrate and preserve their magnificent and diverse heritage.
Bridlington Priory is inviting artists to bring their choice of artist materials (paints, pencil, photography, for example) and be inspired. Children can be artists too with paper and paints provided.
Newly commissioned wood and stone carvings by sculptor Steve Carvill will be on view at the Priory. Explore the Old Town trail, seek out the many blue plaques and window displays on High Street and Market Place, explaining the town’s colourful history. Follow a Church trail from the Priory, founded in 1113, to local churches.
Talks will also be given at the Priory Rooms on Bridlington’s Georgian architecture and one of England’s finest architects William Kent, born in Bridlington.
Why not check out the Bayle Museum (with its free entry) or the many galleries and antique shops in Bridlington too.
If you have purchased a ticket for an event/activity at this venue through hull2017.co.uk, please do not contact the venue direct with enquiries for that purchase as they will be unable to help.
