Come one, come all to The Big Malarkey Festival, Hull’s first children’s literature festival.

Come through the portal of Malarkey Park into a world of stories, books, poetry, comics, music, rhyme, song, dance – and cats in hats.

Meet writers, poets and puppeteers; try out your cartooning skills; write your own epic tale; create some amazing animation or join in with a poetry slam.

With a special programme for under 5s, and an all-dancing finale, get set for a week full of unmissable magical malarkey.

Made possible with funding from the James Reckitt Library Trust, The Big Malarkey Festival is for everyone aged 0 – 16 years to enjoy alongside their family and friends.
