Summary

ArtWaves is back for 2018, taking over Bridlington’s signature venue Bridlington Spa and further afield for its fourth year on Sat 12 May – Sun 15 May with an additional fringe programme running from Mon 7 May.

East Yorkshire’s rising visual arts festival showcasing traditional, digital, contemporary and urban art through a carefully tailored programme curated for all ages; from the experienced artists to those simply looking to see something different.

The 2018 programme will featuring favourite artists from past years alongside a mix of brand new artists in a vast and vibrant line up, and will be available to download from early 2018. The workshops are set for release late 2017 prior to the release of the full programme.

How To Enter

To enter, you must read through the entry guidance.

Open Exhibition – The exhibition entry criteria has no set theme as in previous years, allowing artists far and wide to submit their best works on a multitude of themes or subjects, that will be judged on artistic quality and appeal before being displayed in what will be the most diverse ArtWaves exhibition to date.

The closing date for entries is Fri 6 April 2018

New Strand, Submerge – This strand of the event is aimed at young, new and emerging artists looking to create and display artwork on a public platform.We are looking for installation type pieces that are static or interactive for members of the public to explore.

The closing date for applications is Fri 19 Jan 2018.
