Summary
Winner of 9 Academy Awards, including a Best Director Award for Minghella, this romantic drama, set during and before World War II and filmed on location in Italy and Tunisia, stars Ralph Fiennes, Juliette Binoche, Willem Dafoe and Kristin Scott Thomas. Part of a mini-retrospective celebrating the multi-award winning British writer, director and producer Anthony Minghella, who studied and taught at the University of Hull.
