Summary

Angle of Repose is an exhibition of ceramics by Jenny Morten, a Professional Member of the Craft Potters Association.

Jenny’s ceramics play with the balance of the piece – each one either tilting forwards or sloping backwards, precariously leaning and yet stable on its base. Bands of colour wrap around the exterior of the form following the oblique angle of orientation contrasting with the colourful glazed interiors.

All pieces are handbuilt from a fine porcelain in a space at the gallery. Jenny will demonstrate her handbuilding techniques throughout the exhibition.
