According to recent figures, sales of crime fiction in the UK are nearing £200m, easily beating celebrity biography, romance and food and drink. What is the attraction of this genre and how do we define it anyway?
Come and join two outstanding northern crime novelists Nick Quantrill and June Taylor explore these questions as well as reading from and discussion of their own work.
Nick is the author of the Joe Geraghty trilogy, all set in the Hull area. His latest novel is The Dead Can’t Talk. June is from Leeds: her latest novel is Losing Juliet, a psychological thriller.
