Entrepreneur and co-found of Xing Smoothies

Phil co-founded Xing Smoothies in 2006 while studying for a business degree at the University of Hull. He has set up three successful businesses in Events & Catering, Education and the Shambles Kitchen in York. Phil was made a ‘Yorkshire Patron’ joining a prestigious list to act as ambassador for Yorkshire.

The company now runs education programmes across the country, in which students learn business skills by running Xing Smoothie bar franchises in schools and colleges. Xing Education is listed in the top 100 small enterprises in the UK and top 10 for social impact winning an award in the nationally acclaimed Smarta 100 Awards.

Phil brings this knowledge of the youth demographic to the Board.
