The Pigeon Detectives performance cancellations (23 & 24 Feb 2017)

Due to a medical emergency, The Pigeon Detectives will not be able to perform at North Point Shopping Centre this evening (Thursday 23 February) or Sirius Academy West tomorrow (Friday 24 February) as part of the Back To Ours festival.

Matt Bowman, lead singer with The Pigeon Detectives, said: “Unfortunately due to some complications from what I thought was a simple procedure on my knees, we’ve had to cancel tonight and tomorrow’s shows in Hull. We’re devastated to have to do this. In our 12 years of being a band we’ve rarely cancelled a show, and played through all kinds of injury and illness but currently I’m unable to stand due to swelling in my knee, and I can’t possibly provide the live show that our fans deserve. I’m treating my knee the best I can to reduce swelling and aim to make Saturday’s show.”

All ticket holders will be contacted and will automatically receive a full refund, including fees, via their original payment method in the next three to seven working days.

If you purchased tickets using cash, a member of the box office team will contact you shortly with details of how to obtain your refund.

If you have still not received your refund after seven working days, please contact us on boxoffice@hull2017.co.uk.

An update regarding the performance on Saturday 25 February at The Freedom Centre will be issued as soon as possible.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.
