Prepare to be amazed as the annual performance extravaganza Assemble Fest takes hold of Newland Avenue once again, bringing the very best local talent together for a day to remember. With a line-up boasting six all-new shows, fun-filled family activities and the spectacular finalé Our Street Our Stage, we’re sure you won’t want to miss it.
One of the things that makes Assemble Fest so special is the vibrant community of Newland Avenue working together, so we wanted to introduce you to some of the brilliant local venues, performers and shows you can expect to see over the weekend.

Kidnapped from fresh water to salt water, will Mermarella ever be accepted and find love again in this foreign kingdom? Puppetry, shadow theatre and acting aimed at thinking families and the young at heart.

Follow the story of two hapless thieves, a heist, an unlikely set of heroes and heroines and a community pulling together in the face of adversity in this comedic and musical promenade performance. This performance kicks off at Super Value.
