Interested in performance art, intervention and installation? We’ve got just the thing for you.
From 24 to 26 March, live and media arts festival ReROOTed will transform Humber Street Gallery into a hive of activity, featuring innovative new commissions and existing work by over 25 international artists.
Tackling themes of life after Brexit, feminism and the decline of western civilisation, the festival seeks to spark debate and celebrate the lasting legacy of former commissioning agency Hull Time Based Arts, an organisation responsible for raising Hull’s profile as a performance art and experimental media destination throughout the eighties and nineties.
We caught up with ReROOTed curators Gillian Dyson and Mike Stubbs to find out more.
