Guiding ambassadors for creativity around the world

The National Art & Design Saturday Club is giving young artists around the UK the tools to succeed. Here’s what it means to the students in Hull.

The National Saturday Club is giving young artists aged 14-16 a unique opportunity to develop their skills, and here in Hull the programme is a hit.

24 GCSE students from across the city are taking part in these free, extra-curricular classes, giving them invaluable experience and a helping hand with their coursework.

As part of the Saturday Club the students will also have the opportunity to take part in a number of masterclasses with world-renowned artists and display their work in professional galleries, culminating in an exhibition at Somerset House in London during July 2017.

Artist and Saturday Club facilitator Andi Dakin explains what the Saturday Club is all about.
