In Conversation with… Paul Jackson

Meet Paul Jackson – owner of The New Adelphi Club in Hull.

The New Adelphi Club is Hull’s foremost venue for original live music.

Originally a three-bedroom terraced house, the venue has attracted bands from the local and regional area as well as nationally and internationally known acts such as Echo & The Bunnymen, Radiohead, John Cooper Clarke and Pulp.

We had a chat with owner of the venue Paul Jackson – who has been running The Adelphi since way back in 1984 – about his cultural icons, his most memorable acts who’ve played The Adelphi, and what he’d be doing if he wasn’t in charge.
