Challenge Hull Week #8 – ‘Take Notice’

MONDAY 20 FEBRUARY

This week we are focusing on the beauty of the every day – the bird that has just flown past your window, the leaves that are crunching beneath your feet, the person on the red bicycle. Hull Public Health is asking you to …

‘TAKE NOTICE’

DO:

Take notice of your surroundings and share a photograph of something that makes you feel happy using #ChallengeHull.

IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE MORE TIME:

Pass your happiness on – tell someone about what made you feel happy today and invite them to share their experiences of happiness too. Sometimes we all just need to be asked, or prompted in order to take notice of the every day. Share your photograph online and encourage others to do the same. Before long, you could have a whole album of joyful images that you may not have taken notice of before.

THINK:

Take Notice is one of the five ways you can get involved in our Make it Happen campaign to help everyone get the most out of Hull 2017. Did your perception of happiness change after doing this task? Were you surprised at what you noticed today? Did your mood change after taking notice of your surroundings?

SHARE:

Within the next seven days share your images with a short description of why it makes you happy.

Use #ChallengeHull and share your challenge on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can then tag Hull 2017 (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) as we love to see your photos!

Check our social media channels or our website here next Monday for your next challenge. And don’t forget to share all the challenges (including your own) with others to encourage them to get stuck in too.

Good luck!
